Who can use university library services?
All UNIMI, partner-institution, and external users may access library facilities and consult the collections for information, study, or research purposes. Seats in the library must be booked via the web or through the LezioniUnimi app.
The loan service is restricted to the following user categories:
- University of Milan users (students, doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, lecturers, University’s teaching staff and technical-administrative staff);
- users from affiliated universities or institutions;between
- external users registered at the library and holding a guarantee form (malleveria) signed by a member of the university teaching staff.
Borrowing privileges are valid in all University libraries.
Seat reservation is not required to borrow or return a book.
Interlibrary loan, document delivery, and other advanced services are not available to external users.
