What happens if I do not return borrowed books on time?
If you do not return your borrowed books on time, your library privileges will be suspended:
if you have an overdue book, you cannot request any additional texts from any of the university libraries until you have returned the book and completed any accruing suspension period;
if you return a book after its due date, you are temporarily barred from using the services in all libraries for a period equal to the number of days the book was overdue;
students whose books are more than 60 days overdue will have a temporary block on their academic studies and will not be able to take exams until the books are returned.
You can check the due dates of your loans at any time by logging into your personal area of Minerva, the University catalogue. The library also helps you keep track of your due dates by sending an automatic email notice to your University mailbox a few days before the return date.
