Do libraries organise any courses? Who are these courses for?

Libraries organise training sessions to let users know about the services provided, resources and tools offered by the University Library Service, as well as to develop information skills for the drafting of your final paper/thesis, articles or other types of academic texts.

Courses are open to the whole academic community: students, researchers and teaching, administrative & library staff.

Some courses are held in the form of video-lessons on Teams, while others are e-learning paths that you can follow when you want. One of these asynchronous course is BiblioDOC, created by library staff and addressed to upcoming graduates in particular. BiblioDOC will support you in drafting reports or the final paper/thesis. You can either attend the whole course or just the modules of your interest. If you watch all the videos and pass the tests, you will receive an Open badge (a digital certificate attesting skills) that you can include in your curriculum.

You can find information on dates and schedules on the course page.
