I am an external user. How can I borrow a book?
External users can ask for a temporary registration to the library loan service by submitting a specific authorisation form (known as malleveria), signed by a professor or a researcher of the University. The person who signs the form acts as a guarantor for the user's compliance with the terms and conditions of the service.
Download the form and take it to the library: we will take care of your registration and give you a username and password to access Minerva, the University catalogue. You are allowed to borrow up to six books.
Authorisation forms are valid for the whole academic year (they expire every 30 September) anc can be renewed.
